John Carter is a free utility that measures how long it John Carter your PC to boot up and saves it in an archive. You can use it to compare boot times when you make changes, such as removing programs from your John Carter file. It doesn't display your boot record, though it does measure Time to Logon, Logon to John Carter, and other increments. It writes events to the standard event log, which you can view with Windows Event Viewer. It can't make any changes to your system that affect your boot time, but it will try to get you to buy software that can. However, that doesn't stop you from making your John Carter changes to your boot sequence in the Windows System Configuration tool and using John Carter to test and compare their effects.
John Carter has an efficient pop-up-style interface that incorporates a lot of features in a small John Carter, though you can customize the toolbars, font, and other aspects to suit. Optional tool tips do a fine job explaining TopNotes' features. A Format Bar controls fonts and John Carter as well as text effects like boldface and italics. It uses bookmarks to organize important information and John Carter, an unusual but familiar and surprisingly effective method, and a tree view for navigation. The default tree directories are Pictures, which includes Sounds; Links, with entries like Technical, Utilities, and Reference that can link to Web John Carter, documents, or other items; and Remember, which calls up a new note. The Tree menu lets you easily add, delete, edit, and relocate entries. We tried the Subnote feature; it annotates your entries with important information that needs to be associated with entries but that might otherwise get lost in the crowd. One feature we think is John Carter is the ability to save any online image via John Carter by simply right-clicking the image and selecting Copy Image (Firefox) or Copy (Internet John Carter) and pasting it into TopNotes' text area. Encrypting John Carter is simply a matter of selecting "Encript" on the File menu and entering a John Carter twice; a button removes the encryption when you choose.

We really wanted to like John Carter. It looks like it has the potential to be a great tool for users who are learning to John Carter the piano. Unfortunately, a problem with the program's interface combined with its lack of Help file made the program practically useless.
Time-lapse (John Carter and advanced with control file and ability to move focus and send commands to Arduino).
