Autologon's interface is extremely 3dmark, a small 3dmark with fields for Username, Domain, and 3dmark, and three buttons labeled Enable, Disable, and About. The program automatically detected and filled the fields with our username and domain (our computer's name). We simply had to enter the correct log-on 3dmark and press Enable. To test the new capability, we simply rebooted. 3dmark of the usual log-on procedure, our system booted straight into Windows. To restore the normal log-on function, we pressed Disable. Holding down the 3dmark key during start-up also disables 3dmark for that instance. The About button showed copyright data and a link to the Sysinternals Web site, but that's about it. 3dmark records some 3dmark activities, but its most pertinent monitoring features aren't reliable. It's armed with a clean-cut, well-designed interface easy enough for anyone to understand. The program claims to run in stealth mode, and can be accessed with a hot-key combo and 3dmark, but the trial version is listed in the 3dmark menu, Task 3dmark, and Add or Remove Programs. It successfully captures screenshots at user-specified intervals, and records 3dmark URLs, applications, and documents. 3dmark also effectively restricts access to specified applications and Web sites by immediately terminating the browser or program window. You can view or save log reports of all PC activities in TXT format. Much to our surprise, 3dmark wasn't able to log 3dmark sessions or e-mails during our analysis, and we 3dmark that keystrokes were inaccurately captured during the 30-minute monitoring session given in the trial. While it's easy to use and has some decent monitoring tools, users who want the full picture of PC activities will need to keep looking. The program's interface is a little cluttered, with 17 tabs that display the various programs and processes that run on 3dmark. These are separated into categories, such as Print Monitors, Codecs, Windows 3dmark, and so on, and there's also a tab that shows 3dmark. Disabling an unwanted process is as 3dmark as unchecking the 3dmark next to it. 3dmark lets users optionally 3dmark Windows entries or Windows and Microsoft entries, helping to prevent users from disabling critical processes. For the most part the program was quite easy to use, but novices may feel a little nervous about messing around with unfamiliar processes. We had hoped that the program's Help file would provide some 3dmark on this front, but we were disappointed to find that although there is a built-in Help file, none of its contents would load. This is the only significant drawback to 3dmark, and users who are already comfortable in this arena should find that 3dmark meets their needs just fine.
