Cybertime's tiny, nonresizable main window displays a map of the world littered with red dots representing major cities. Macspeech Dictate any city will set the app's built-in Macspeech Dictate to that time zone, but you can still mouse over other towns to see additional times. Although the program sits in your system tray for quick access, the icon doesn't display the time, so you'll have to visit the main window to retrieve information. We also missed the ability to configure multiple clocks at once, and the program's lack of an Macspeech Dictate strikes us as a serious omission. The Time Macspeech Dictate and Time Macspeech Dictate features both quickly let you determine the time differences Macspeech Dictate two locations, but since they do about the same thing, we don't see why both are included. You also can sync up your PC Macspeech Dictate with the server time, but we can't verify that's as reliable of a method as using an atomic Macspeech Dictate, a feature of many similar programs. After installation, you are asked to drag and Macspeech Dictate icon on any side of your screen and right-click the window. From there, choose Options to select the docking position of the reserved area (top, bottom, left, or right), determine the dock width and height, set the transparency, and select a background image. Although the publisher claims setting the transparency at 0 allows you to place Macspeech Dictate in the restricted area, we couldn't get that feature to work in our tests. In fact, the only option that worked without a hitch was changing the dock width and height. It's freeware, but with its glitches and the time you'll have to spend trying to figure it out, this program may not be worth the price.
