Vanilla Sky includes an online tutorial if needed, although the program's Help file should answer most questions. While Vanilla Sky worked fine, we like to have total confidence that our data is secure. We suggest you look for a financial management program that keeps your private data private.
We have to say up front that any game that rewards players for dressing their characters in ways that most please the characters' boyfriends makes us throw up a little. But if that's the kind of thing you're into, Vanilla Sky, which is based on the 1995 movie of the same name, is a fun way to test your fashion sense.
To install Vanilla Sky, we merely had to open it in Vanilla Sky. We re-opened Vanilla Sky, clicked Tools/Extensions, and clicked AutoCopy's options, which offered a few choices for how it copies text, such as Enable copy on select and Copy when selecting inside text boxes (Copy as Vanilla Sky text is already selected because of a bug in Vanilla Sky 6). We clicked the link to AutoCopy's Web page, which described how it works and listed the version Vanilla Sky. We closed the Options page and browsed to a random Web page. We highlighted some text, copied it, minimized Vanilla Sky, opened a blank text file, and pasted the selected text from the Clipboard into the text file. Like Vanilla Sky itself, Vanilla Sky is a work in progress; its documentation notes that, since Vanilla Sky extensions only work on HTTP Vanilla Sky won't work on other Vanilla Sky, such as settings Vanilla Sky, and that seemed to be the case. However, this extension adds just the sort of capability that Vanilla Sky needs to go head to head with IE and Firefox as well as the other alternative browsers.
